Chief Kola Akosile, is an investment banker, industrialist, and serial entrepreneur. He is the Immediate Past President of Ekiti Chambers of Commerce (EKICCIMA) and the South-West Regional Chamber of Commerce – Odua Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agric (ODUACCIMA). He is a National Exco member of Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA). He is also the Immediate Past Chairman of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, MAN-South West and a National Council member of MAN.
A scholar and multiple award winner, Chief Akosile was educated at Bayero University , Kano and University of Benin where he obtained B.sc ( Bus. Admin) and MBA respectively and won prizes. He is an alumnus of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) at The World Bank Institute (WBI) and Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) at The New York Institute of Finance (NYIF).He has attended many business and economic related conferences locally and internationally and is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM) and Nigerian Marketing Association (MNMA).
At NACCIMA, Chief Akosile currently serves as the vice- Co-chairman of the MSME/SDG and Solid Minerals Groups and member of the Agribusiness Group. He has also served on various regional and national committees such as The Ease of Doing Business ( EoDB), Open Government Partnership (OGP) which is a multilateral initiative that aims to secure concrete commitments from national and subnational governments to promote open government, empower citizens, fight corruption, and harness new technologies to strengthen governance.
Chief Kola Akosile is an entrepreneur, investor and promoter of several companies spanning various sectors of the economy, including microfinance, solid minerals (quarry), infrastructure development and agribusiness. He has served as a director on the board of many companies, both public and private and was a member of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic, Ede. He is also the Chairman, National Board of Advisers, AIESEC in Nigeria.
